I'm always on the lookout for ways to get our boys creative. We recently discovered childrens author and illustrator Rob Biddulph who started his drawwithrob series during lockdown. He created step by step videos of how to draw some of his characters. The videos are so clear and simple and our boys were quickly hooked and produced some really good drawings, some of which we've already framed.
We always have bits of wood lying around and I decided to get the boys to draw one of their favourite characters on a sqare of wood which I then engraved with my wood burner. Andrew shaped the corners and after a quick varnish they were ready to be hung in the garden.
I love encorporating art into the garden and am always looking for simple projects. If you've got any good ideas, especially ones that involve kids, do share!
