One month into the year and I'm already failing my book a month challenge. I've been attempting this for a while now. I love to read but barely find the time to do so. A while back I set myself the challenge each year to try and get through one book a month. I usually start off well before it falls apart over the Summer due to kids being at home and all our time spent outside, I then try and catch up again throughout the Winter. Since having Phoebe however I've managed nothing, favouring slobbing out in front of the TV in the evenings instead of curled up by the fire with a good page turner. I'll find the time again at some point (my 'Books' Pinterest board grows weekly) but for now we seem to be doing better at featuring in magazines, which I do find the odd moment to flick through.
Gingernut magazine is new on the scene and is a passion project produced by working mum Edie Campbell. Issue one you can read online here and issue two has been wonderfully put together and printed, containing an article by moi all about our move and life here in France. It's full of honest articles, inspiring poetry and beautiful illustrations. You can get your copy here.
In the Early Spring issue of Juno magazine, one of our favourite parenting magazines, you'll find a little picture of Phoebe at the start of the year with one of our little chicks. Every month they've been running a photo challenge over on Instagram where you can submit pictures on theme chosen by Juno. This is the second time Phoebe has featured now, despite the fact that she's no longer really a fan of having her picture taken.
So tell me...have you ever featured in a magazine? What are your favourite books/magazines at the moment?
